Cold temps and winter like weather...

Cold temps and winter like weather made for interesting practice in Angel Fire NM. The DH course started the day yesterday with a thin layer of ice and snow which quickly turned to mud. This morning has been a beautiful spring day so far and hopefully it will hold out for the world class dh race set to go off on Monday.

Full Moon Cruiser Ride Ya'll!!!

Day two of the may double header full moon cruiser ride in bonedale... and what a turn out! If you weren't there you surely missed out! The Gear Exchange Crew cruised the beautiful new paved 11 mile trail to carbondale. Myself, i cruised my tall bike. To clear any misconceptions on what a tall bike is here ya go. i have a Schwinn with a specialized frame welded on top. so the top tube is a mellow five feet off the deck. Single speed, 52-18 (go fast ripper gear!!!). it was great to be outside, with lots and lots of people on bikes. everyone laughing, yelling, hollering and having a great time. photos to come.

Story from the weekend

Rider Jeff Kegu
You will notice a guy in the upper right hand corner wearing a black shirt with a red design... this guys ran the entire length of the course cheering on his friend and teammate. When i say cheering i mean he was yelling, clapping, running along side the rider the whole length of the course to help motivate his team member. Pretty funny to watch.

Mistakes

Sometimes mistakes work out. Course ribbon blowing in front of the lens as Cody Wilderman rips through the DS course. What do you think? Leave a comment.

Chalk Creek Stampede Mountain Cross

Peter Hanak leads out the Mens Pro Class, with Yeti rider Ross Milan and Eric Carter, close on his heals. Peter kept his lead all the way to the finish landing him 1st place at the MSC gravity season opener. Mountain cross, cross country, short track and dual slalom races were all held this past weekend in Nathrop Colorado. For more info visit www.racemsc.com
