New lenses are fun!

Been having fun with a new macro lens lately. Here are a few shots from the other day.

Colorado Trail

Went for a bit of a pedal yesterday.

Rode from the top of Kenosha Pass out to the top of Georgia Pass. Alot of up and down out there.

Fall time in the high country

After a week long trip to Las Vegas for the Interbike trade show, I was in much need of getting outdoors and up high. Crested Butte holds a special place for me and I made a b-line for the mountain bike capital of the world directly following my hiatus in sin city.

I was able to get in a lot of great riding AND got some AMAZING photos. Special thanks to Brian Buell and David Bunt for riding for the camera and Linden for the fun day of riding in circles!

SRAM Crankworx posters

Unfortunately another year will be go by without my making it there for this tramendous bicycle event. SRAM has a lot of great things going on at this year's Kokanee Crankworx in Whistler B.C. There is a World Bicycle Relief pop up store in the Whistler village, with all proceeds going to WBF (http://www.worldbicyclerelief.org).

Today SRAM is hosting a athlete poster signing. Slopestyle/dirtjumper rider Greg Watts will be present, and his poster is one of my photos! The shot was taken during the Best Trick Contest during the Ranchstyle Mountain Bike Festival 2011. I'll be sure to get a copy! If you are in Whistler this week, try and nab a few!

Kicking into gear

Summer race season is now in full swing! I was in California last week for Sea Otter doing some work for Mountain Flyer Magazine. Now I am in Arizona for the Whiskey 50 working for Epic Rides. I am extremely happy with how things have been shaping up for me lately and this summer will certainly be the best yet!
